Break In Avenger 85 break-in

Just ordered the Avenger 85 kit and i was wondering, do i need to use any specific oil mix ratio or will the one provided in the manual work? And approx. how many tanks do i need to burn to fully break it in?

Breakin proceedure for the Avenger as well as the Phantom engines is 20:1 oil/fuel mix ratio for the first 310 miles, (498.9km), and then 25:1 after that breakin period is over.

The one in the manual (I believe 16:1) will work, also what Damien said, 20:1 will work, and not foul out the plug as quickly as 16:1. Also if you don't have an odometer, I believe it's about 3 tanks of gas.

It is actually about 5 tanks of fuel mix since on breakin, using the 2 liter fuel tanks that come with these things, you can expect 60 to 65 miles per tankful which puts you in the 5 tankful category, not 3...lol.
