Howdy. I'm looking for saw alternatives for the avenger piston. Most sites don't show measurements. My local saw shop buys pistons to order so they don't have inventory to compare to. Thanks!

Hi NeedSpeed, I finally found the new replacement piston for the Avenger motor...lol...lol.
(Sorry, I couldn't resist knowing the self destructiveness of the Avenger)...lol.

Lol if anyone can tell ya it's me! You guys know it hasn't been a year for me yet but I've OWNED 3 yd100,2 ld100,2 49mm iron bore,2 phantoms,3 avengers,1 66/80. Still have 1 yd100,2 ld100,2 avenger,1 49mm iron bore. I've built. 7 yd100,6 ld100,6 49mm iron bore,5 66/80, 3 phantoms,3 avengers,2 49cc... I think that's it lol

Which clips are better? Also I believe I'm going with the ms380 piston by dukes. Its a tad bit shorter but that's ok cause I have 3 base gaskets right now.

The ones on the left, according to many here, but they are a PITA to work with to get them in...I like the ones with the "ears" on each end that I can put in quite easily with needle nose pliers but not everyone here is onboard with that choice of mine...I have never had one of those pop loose on me though so I keep on using them...lol.

They're easy to get in, but getting them out sucks.

I like to use these exact ones...

Yeah that's what I've been using as well. Seems ok enough but I see alot if peoples piston rings coming out and messing things up.
