axle sprocket kit

From your picture, it looks like the backing plate edge is inline with the cut in the rubber. You want the cut in the rubber in the middle of the backing plate.

Oh no thats just the spoke pushing the rubber ive done that already
 
Placed between the dropout and where it meets the rim to tighten. Sometimes they are to short, then you just have to buy some all thread rod and make your own axle. That way it can be long enough for a few spacers/washers.

Thanks for the advice ill buy a new chain then do that

Do you use just regular flat washers? I was under the impression I had to use those thin axle nut things as spacers. Washers would be much easier!
