badly burnt hand

i was pulling into the gas station to check my tires today and i stupidly set my hand on top of the muffler, i screamed out "shi*"! everyone filling there tanks up stared at me like whats wrong with him, i suffered second degree burns and i had my hand in ice for 4 hours straight, also i got a fancy ice pack from the doctors office

Definite bummer.

I remember a burn like that on my leg as a kid from a motorcycle exhaust.

To paraphrase Gandalf; "The burnt hand teaches best. After that, advice about mufflers goes to the heart."

I've never done it since that one time.
