Baffle in or out

Hi Peter, If both ends are the same as the picture showing the open pipe, then it is exactly what you need. In the other photo [with the tape measure] it shows the gold wrap, just leave it like it is.

Have fun,
Quenton

I bought a used 80cc 2stroke and I see lotta different opinions about this so plain and simple....will removing or punching holes in baffle cause my bike to have any more power? Not worried about noise. I do lose a lot going up hill or against the wind. So would this be helpful or harmful? Thanks.

Well for one, you bumped up a nearly 7 year old dead thread about 4-stroke Whizzer baffles. That's some kinda goofy necro, IMHO!

Two, the stock 2-stroke muffler works just fine unless you actually _want_ more power.
If you want an increase in power via exhaust tuning, a tuned expansion chamber is a must.

I been flirting with the idea of an expansion chamber. How much upper and lower end torque we talkin? And if I get one do I need to adjust the carb?
