Those look good to me. If your left grip is in good shape, buy a set that matches that grip. If you have a compressor, you can use it to blow off the old grip.got my pedals, carb and offset intake today, because of the slight adjustment my throttle cable is now SUPER slack, can easily pull it like 2-3" inches, needless to say i'm getting ZERO pick-up and go, my grips are s**t anyway, so i might as well replace that 16 year old cable / throttle, any suggestions to go with that BoFeng carb?
Throttle assembly / new killswitch
this is what i've been eyeballing, but it's 1:30 in the morning, and i've got booze and thc in my body, won't buy anything til tomorrow at the earliest, so suggestions would be welcome, my current cable is so cheap/old it doesn't even have that metal bent piece for adjustments
I was thinking, if your grips match the ones you ordered, then you won't have to change the left hand grip. Of course a thumb throttle is great too, especially if you like the grips you have now.looks like the kits come with both grips, cable, and new killswitch, so I'm golden....assuming 36" is long enough...i have a feeling it won't be, but whatever, if i have to buy a longer throttle cable, no biggie
Yea, just turf them then. I got a set of comfort grips in a kit once, those were nice. Canadian Tire sells those comfort grip, if you wanted to go with a thumb throttle. My grips now are terrible, they're hard plastic, there's no cushion, at all on them, they look like some $3 toy, lol
Just my odd sense of humor.Lol Arthur's itis, if that was an autocorrect, that's amazing
