Basement threads?

Have a basement thread where anything goes except porn for example. Make it where 100 posts are needed to post so newbs from outside can't come in and start crap. A popular M/C forum has such and calls it Jo Momma thread. I think it would be a good addition for members to YELL out wassup. No attacking other members but very few rules w/a Mod stepping in. Just ideas....................what ya think?

Darwin, some years ago we installed a groups feature where you could create your own groups. Nobody really used it so it was removed. Same with the chat room, it was barely ever used and newbies just posted their questions in there only to never get an answer. I think a separate thread or area for privileged members probably wouldn't get much use either. I would suggest using the PM feature and add a few people in there. Also if you haven't already noticed, the Off Topic area is now visible for registered members only, mainly to keep search engines from wasting their time in there.

Y'all can always come shoot the crap in my shop. We can drink, smoke, whatever. You can even use that line people use when they talking crap " Muh freedom of speech...", my shops not an open forum. lol. You won't get in trouble for saying "*&^*&^(*^*(&^$%$#&^(*$%#@&$(^(*&^&$%%#&^%*&(^&#%#@&^&^(*&%^&$%#%$#&^*%*&^%@#$&%*&(&^&*" or anything similar. Just giving y'all options. Bring the green, and I'll make the speakers sing. lol.
