u can get cheap-o glue guns that come free with sticks at dollar tree where everything's a dollar! lol

True. Hadn't thought about hot glue - A spot of hot glue on the seam should keep things together until I cut it off... (I was afraid of superglue/epoxy, as it would tend to wick between the speedo & base before the glue set, and would make it pretty much impossible to ever separate the two again.

(The tye-wrap would probably work too, but, it could slip down.)

yea dollar tree has some small ones that';ll do the job, mine came with sticks.

I have a hot glue gun - I just don't often think about using it for non "craft" uses .
