Hello, I now have an '05 Whizzer and it runs good but the belt rubs the rear tire. I have tried different alignments of the tire but that does not help.
Is there a way of shimming the wheel or maybe the clutch? thanks

tire scrubber?

Hi what size tire? auto or manual? 24 or 26? details will help us help you.

Rubbin like crazy

Hi, well good to know, Wifey's bike is an 05 manual, which I converted for her to Auto. You Could shim the clutch, IF the front belt was running off angle, that is to say running from the outside to the inside.

First I would check the clutch arm pivot, is it snug, but free(at IBM it was called "minimum end-play, no binds").

Then is the clutch axle bolt just snug, mnot allowing it to drift the one way or the other?

Then, the sheave, and the wheel are not really variable, tho some Whizzer wheels were laced kinda flat on the sheave side to move it away from the chainstay and fork, this would move the belt closer to the tire?

Look close to see that the L/H spoke flange is firmly in place, as I did have a problem with my 05, after having started it many tmes at shows, it drifted inwards, and could cause the belt to rub, if that were the case.
