Does anyone know the friction drive unit that is the easiest for
replacing the rollers? I have no interest in using a puller for
press-fit bearings. It has to be easy.

Thatsdax.com is the only other current maker of friction drives other than Staton that I know of.

So how easy is it to replace rollers on the Stanton drive? Are the
rollers press fit? How are they changed out?

The bearings/rollers on a Staton drive are press fit. You have to go to a machinist to remove the bearings from the rollers. The fit and finish of a Staton friction drive is superior to Thatsdax.com's friction drive, but Thatsdax.com friction drive bearings are not press fit. They weren't when I bought mine, which was when he first came out with them.

This is not good news. I was planning to experiment with different rollers on the Stanton
drive but it doesn't seem possible. I guess they want the customer to order a new FD drive
for each diameter. Ridiculous!
