Best spark plugs

Copper core plugs always worked the best for me. The cheapies. More power transfer, but at a reduced life. Which in these little engines is years to get to the end of that reduced life ( 20k miles). The ngk always crap out after a year, so do bosch. Them long lasting irdium etc, plugs, reduce performance, known fact. They reduce performance, at the advantage of a 100k mile life. Its why they came out with wire electrode centers, to get some of that loss back. I'm not sure anyone can actually benefit from a 100k plug here. Anyone with 100k miles on their motor?

If you do a racers clip on your electrode ( not wire centered ones, it will break them) it helps the burn pattern out a bit, and does make a difference. I's just a trim of the electrode from over the center, and cut at 45 degrees to create a sharp end for better spark reliability.
