They are good for about a year then it's battery dies, which of course is not replaceable, but for ~$10 they do a good job.

Click to expand... Nope. It runs continuous for a year and dies I guess, I don't know because I have had one on a bike here for 14 months and its still on. There are others, just Google 'small engine tachometer/hour meter'
