I read the description,... as far as it went. If the show you an orange
and send you an apple you dint get what you paid for. Fortunately.
they've finally changed the picture now to show the actual model for
sale. so...KMA

Regardless of the picture, the description said 5/8 shaft.
You added a 5/8 shaft engine to your cart. You paid for it.
They sent you a 5/8 shaft engine .
You got what you paid for.

so...herp derp

The engine he wanted is described as a 5/8ths tapered shaft isn't it? Seems tapered is the key word missing. I could have messed up on that too.

I just did my first purchase with them, nothing to complain about, really helpful with the questions I had, totally recommended.

They made a mistake when helping me choosing the right transmission, after I got the package and I realized it, I contacted them and they are sending me the right stuff and they pay for everything including returning the wrong items.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

One of the mag wheels on a roller frame I bought from then had the threads stripped at the free wheel cog. I shot them a email with a pic. on Sat. and on Mon. morning they called me saying a new one will be shipped to me. Shortly after that I got a shipping conformation from Fed EX. I never even had to call them. They called me. These guys run a good honest business.

Don't know about that. I did get the new mag yesterday though. 6 days from the time I e mailed them till it arrived. Not bad, especially since 2 of the days were a weekend. I got no dog in this. Just figured that with the mass of s**t heel vendors out there when one comes through with good service I'd throw them an adaboy.

Purchased from them and thru Amazon. If mistakes were made, they were fixed.

This is the review I posted on their website about the Zeda 80...very impressed...works flawlessly...DAMIEN

"Very impressive, Zeda 80 black engine kit.
I have previously bought both Flying Horse and Seeutek kits from major competitor before I even heard of Bicycle Engines.com...This Zeda 80 just blows them all right out of the water.
It is simply put, a much better designed engine with much more power than the two i just mentioned.
Quality is sooooo much better with improved power and top end speed.
I ordered it with the 36 tooth sprocket which was also a MAJOR improvement for off the line acceleration as well as top end speeds, I had previously used both the 48 and 44 tooth sprockets on previous builds.
For what it is worth, I used to be an ASE certified master mechanic/technician until my retirement 10 years ago.
Special shout out to the two fine ladies i talked to, first one when i ordered the kit over the phone, and also when i had one minor problem when the accelerator twist grip wasnt quite right, they replaced it via mail within just a few days no charge.
Cannot tell you how happy i am with my purchase with Bicycle-engines.com, The kit was delivered to me in Alamogordo NM from their Montana location within one week.
THIS IS THE ONLY entity I will order from for now on".

Ps...Also had a gas cap that was too tight a fit on the gas tank and the rubber gasket split on third fill up about a month after i got it...they didnt just replace the cap, but the entire gas tank system as well within three days at no charge, they did not even require pics as proof or return of old one.

As a side point, without any extra modifications, This bike weighing in at 80 pounds went up to 47 MPH and i still had throttle left...I only did it once since i have no desire to go that fast on a bicycle, and no desire to clean the racing stripes out of my underwear at 65 years of age, just wanted to see what she could do...lol.

Please don't tell us the 36 tooth was a major improvement for off the line acceleration over the 44 and 48 tooth sprockets. It will make some question the master mechanic part as it makes no sense. Top end is a lot easier to swallow. Agree the Zeda firestorm engines from bicycle engines are real good engines. Anxious to try the new ones with the ceramic lined G4 cylinders. Pretty cool front mount setup you got there.
