Does anyone know where I can buy some very cheap lightweight bikes? I ride a fairly good trek but its very heavy which i fear could be a problem.. Any suggestions?

What is your application? What is light? 15lbs? 20lbs? 30lbs? What would a 'heavy' bike be a problem? No disrespect intended, just eager to help...

Like van said "garage sales and junk yards"....pawnshops,local/regional paper,word of mouth,notice boards,advertise to buy bikes,try bike stores and see what they do with their tradeins.Sooner or later you'll find what your looking for,just be a little bit patient.

go to www.walmart.com and search gmc denali i have this as a push bike i would not reccomend it for a motor. wayyyy to light. its about 18-22 lb.
