Why would anyone use brake cleaner on a carb? They make carb cleaner.

They are both the same, carb cleaner is $4 more.

Carb cleaner and brakleen are not the same at all. Brakleen is mainly alcohol and will burn but evaporates very quickly and removes grease oil and petroleum based chemicals. Carb cleaner is loaded with detergents and petroleum distillate. Designed to clean baked on carbon. Spray brakleen on your hands and it quickly evaporates and your hands are clean and dried out. Spray carb cleaner on your hands and your hands are a little cleaner and covered in a film of oily substance.
