I would agree tweakers are the biggest risk we see with our prized possessions, they try to remain awake 24/7 with the only goal to come up with enough to get their next fix. In big metropolitan areas they all seem to know someone within 5 minutes of a text to show up with 3 foot bolt cutters. You gotta go to extreme measures to keep your bike safe while shopping in large cities.
Edit: I've actually been warned once by one in Riverside, CA that there was a reward of $100 by a dealer if someone stole my bike, easily 3 days of staying awake for a tweaker. I worked in the area 4 days a week and I bought him some food a few times, so he was kind enough to warn me about it when he was notified by his dealers about the bounty.
