It's difficult for me to tune my carb with one hand while the other is squeezing the brake. My clutch engages at 1500rpms and my bike wants to take off without me. So I decided to make this stand and get the rear wheel off the ground. The OCC frame has two vertical holes in front of the dropout slot that work great. The stand is made from a strap of steel 1 1/4 by 1/4 seven feet long. I have a big vise and a even bigger hammer that worked, but a break would have been easier for sure. Drill the holes after you are happy with the shape. The two vertical sections need to be closer together than the 7 1/2 inch forks so the tension will keep them tight against them when in use. Use your muscles and pry them apart when when you remove the stand. At first I installed the bolts in the stand only to find it too dificult to line up into the holes without scratching the paint on the bike. The two top bolts are 5/16 x 1 while the lower one is 5/16 x 1 1/4 allowing the use of a wing nut to keep it securely in place. You need both hands to spread this stand apart so I threw a rope over the rafters and lifted the bike off the floor a little to install this.
