Bike to mount a predator 212?

Yea, that can be a fun project, but I still prefer a motorized bicycle. Something that is more akin to a board track racer.

I'd just like a bike with a really heavy duty frame that has the space for a 212. I wouldn't care about spending the money for better wheels, etc.. Any time you build something unique, you're going to spend a lot of money. Just how it goes.
I've Frankinstiened lots of bikes into some other kind of ride, pick them up for free or very cheap. Chop out the parts you want to use and recycle the rest. Most of my bikes these days do have pedals though.

Yea, that's for the 79CC.

I like the mounts they offer though. Especially this one:

Does anyone know where you can find tube clamps like those in various sizes? The closest I can find are crash bar clamps for motorcycle foot pegs. The rest would be really easy to fabricate and you could built a mount for any tube bike with minimal to no welding.

Maybe look for some conduit straps. They are likely to have them in several different sizes. I'm not sure if you can find them in a good thickness.

I've made those style clamps from regular exhaust pipe. Cut it down the middle and squeeze it in a vise.

Yea, I think that would be a little too light duty.

These are perfect and come in different sizes, except they are 3 piece, so that could compromise the integrity.

Actually those are really strong, They'll be fine

I've seen those after guys have laid down their motorcycle in a wreck, The bolts don't break the clamp bends

Yea, I went ahead and ordered some. Coming from China, so might be a couple weeks until I see them. Couldn't find any others the right size in the states. I also ordered some shaft collars. These are DEFINITELY strong enough, but might be a bit more challenging to mount a plate to. I'll play around and see what I can come up with.
