It's just another typical American using American slang in trying to create a witicism or joke and then not realising that someone with their own native language being German, (Deutch), would not be able to understand it when translating because wording and phraseology between the two languages does not work out correctly...lol...lol.
Almost like a Prussian trying to understand a Bavarian...lol...lol.
