Bikeberry 2-stroke on a 2001 Specialized Enduro Expert HT?

That frame is aluminum. You can tell by the non tubular shape of the frame. Would make a good ebike conversion though!

Regarding the cruiser. V brakes work well if you get some kool stop salmon pads have a relatively fresh cable and noodle. Looks like you have a 1" fork. You can get a suntour xcm with 100mm of travel, adjustable preload, disc brake mounts and V brake mounts, for around 100 usd.

My Hyper beach cruiser and Gordy's Hyper don't have the built in mounting holes on the frame for disk brakes either.

We both made our own adapters.

Here are mine...The front one is an "Adel" clamp from an F-16 fighter jet, (civilian versions can be found online as well).

The rear one is handmade and made in such a way that it is not only screwed into existing holes in the dropouts of the frame but the bottom part is kind of like a fork that fits over the axle and is held in place when the axel nuts are tightened...It also uses the back most part of the frame to brace it solidly in place...It is made from 7075 T-6 military aircraft grade aluminum.

@Gordy hand made his as well when he sees this he will tell you what readily available material he made his from.

If your gonna be in this hobby/sport of building motorised bikes, you will need to know how to think outta the box as nothing is just a bolt on part on these without some sort of adaption needed to make these things...lol.
I guess I've always heard that the forces from disc brakes are too strong for frames that aren't specifically designed for them. I'm guessing that's why you used military grade material for it

The Hyper beach cruiser frame in particular is quite strong..It is steel, thicker tubing, superior welding in comparison to other "budget" bikes, etc. etc. etc.

The reason I use military grade is quite simple, if you look at my avatar, you will see I am in Alamogordo, NM.

I am surrounded by Holloman Air Force Base, White Sands Missile Range, and Fort Bliss...lol...lol.

Needless to say, I know many folks from those bases from LT. Colonels to rocket scientists to everything in between from military rank and file personel to civilian contractors...lol...lol.

Needless to say, when I want to build something to last, I know right where to go and who to ask.

The other thing I built but didn't highlight on my last post to you was my front motor mount, also home made from a bar of 7075 T-6 military grade aluminum...lol...lol...Once it was made, I sent it back to the base to get bead blasted for a more finished look to it...lol.

These items will pretty much outlast the bike frame and probably outlive me...lol...lol.
