BikeBerry can't sell motors in Calif.?

I'm waiting for a reply from BikeBerry about shipping their kits to CA addresses. Although they are based in So. Cal, their website says they can not sell their EPA Certified engines to Calif. residents. Anyone have anymore information about this?

BikeBerry, GasBike.net, Raw Motors, et al, are owned by Nationwide Access, LLC. Even though the motors are EPA certified for importation into the US, none have been approved by C.A.R.B. for sale in California.

There are vendors here on the board who will sell to CA residents.

I'd like to throttle CARB for choking our hobby Anyway I was hoping to do business with them as they seem to be a reputable company and have decent prices...plus they are in Calif. Hmm...could I have it sent to an address out of state and have the out of state person sent it to me?
