Blown Crank. Who's still rebuilding vintage Whizzer Engines?

here's some pictures of the current condition.
Current piston is a .05 over, at the time it was the only size could find, which was a bummer as I went from a stock size and had it bored all the way up and was told after that I probably couldn't go any larger without having to install a sleeve.

The guys you mentioned are great Whizzer mechanics and so is
@Quenton Guenther - 252-475-0400

Call him you'll be glad you did
Please be aware, that this is the second time I have sent work to Quenton and while he has good intentions and is the best Whizzer Man, be prepared to wait at least 3 months for your work to be done. He has promised to ship my completed work for three weeks now, and I am still waiting and hoping. I sent him my parts back on March 8th.

I guess he's still popular and got a few customers bikes ahead of you
But as long as he does good work and your not in a hurry I guess it's worth the wait if ya can't do the work yourself

BTW I've never sent Q an engine but in the past I did have to call and check on some parts I order, He said he would send them right away :LOL:

My engine cylinder has shipped and should be in today or tomorrow. Apparently Mr Q's primary transportation has broken down, keeping him close to the shop and possibly threatening his attendance at Portland next week. I hope he works it out. Thanks again Quenton Lee for working on my engine. We need a few Machinist Whizzer enthusiasts to set up shop in a few different parts of the country to fill your Huge Shoes!
