Carby Bofeng Carb Flooding AGAIN.

You really need a new clutch cable, that one looks pretty seriously butchered...lol.

See the clogged hole I circled in red ???...That is where the cable is supposed to snake through and the small screw that used to be on top of the arm was supposed to screw into the cable and hold it in place.

Thankfully that assembly can be easily replaced but you really should replace that cable as well as it is going to be a source of endless problems the way you have it now.

You can see in a pic with my cable going through the hole in the arm that not only do I have the top screw holding the cable, but I also have an additional brass cable end screw as well right where the cable comes through that hole as an additional lock in place device...It hasn't moved in years...lol.

That is what a clutch cable looks like when it is not totally frayed, used, and abused like yours has become over time...lol.

Mine still looks that way 5 years later...lol.
Mines like 6 months lol. And only 200 miles. With that brass thing on the end, I'll be able to set it and forget it instead of having to play with it when it starts "creeping".

Well, at least I gave ya the links to get what you need to do it up correctly and at least it's all cheap enough to replace.

One other thing you should do with the new cable.

Slide the cable out of the sheathing and apply some grease to it so it does not rust, bind up, etc. on you and then slide it back into the sheathing again and install it on the bike clutch mechanism.

Pretty much any type of grease will do, I use white lithium grease on mine if that is of any help as to what to use.
