Next on my plan for my 212-engined “comfort bike” project is frame strengthening.

I’ll be using welded-in angle iron and steel plate for the engine mount.

Also a large welded gusset at the head tube.

However, I’m considering bolt-on steel braces at the stays and the dropouts.

Maybe 1/2” steel box tubing.

Has anyone ever done this?

Any drawbacks, besides what they’d look like?

Engine power goes through a shift kit.
There’s no left rear sprocket and chain, so less to be in the way.

I have not done it before, but I have seen others do that with good results. I would definitely reinforce the frame for use with the 212cc predator.
