Bought a heavy duty clutch from grubee.net

I mean that is really the only way it will seat correctly. In reverse order the opening won't seat on the shaft, and I doubt the clutch bolt would be long enough to seat it.

Never hurts to double check though.

Godman, how satisfied are you with the 144f motor? I liked them a lot. The clutch in the pics is going on the right way.
 
The top picture is the way I installed it.

@darwin I like it. I did bump up the output sprocket count some. On a straight road, I've gotten 36mph. The torque is still decent. I bumped the wheel sprocket from 36T to 44T.

I should have looked closer at both pics, the center hole especially. Won't it go on only one way where it lines up with the clutch bell?
 
Well I tried both directions to check behind myself. If you try to install it facing the way the second photo illustrates. It does not seat the shaft correctly. Also the clutch bolt does not seem long enough to reach the shaft.

So naturally I installed it the other way as illustrated in the first photo.
