Now I know you were probably hoping this thread about the Bounce B Gone sports bras.

What it's actually about is mirror bounce. Though I could tell something was behind me, what it was or how far back couldn't be determined. The bar on the handle bar extension is made of thin aluminum. My mirror arms are long and curved at the bottom. Coupled with the fact they were secured to a very thin aluminum tube; bounce was inevitable.

My solution was to put in a steel tube and add supports to the mirror arms. The steel tube was much thicker but has a slightly smaller diameter than the aluminum tube. Meaning it wouldn't snug up in the extension clamps. To my good fortune the steel tube fit perfectly inside of the aluminum tube. I used some metal epoxy to bond the aluminum tube to the steel tube. The skull bolt also goes through both tubes.

The next phase was to add support braces. I used steel L brackets to do this. I had to bend the L bracket to get it around the curve on the mirror arms. Then straighten them back out.

Nice fabrication and end result. Have to admit you and I think differently. My solution would have been to move the mirrors closer to the grips. Your gonna say, NO ROOM DARWIN. I would have made room Jerry. Nice job though!
