Question, I have a rear wheel that has the push back peddle brakes. Can I take the brake lever off the rim and put on either C style brakes or disk brakes??

That's called a coaster brake, and yes, there is a way to remove it. This is how I removed mine, I know it's not the best, but I haven't picture documented it yet.

Good lord fellas, it's brake, not break.

Hit the brakes to take a break and learn the difference, please.

Yes, I edited the title and both posts. Every single time brake was mentioned it was misspelled. Every. Single. Time. (Points for consistency)

Biggest irrational pet peeve I have. 😆
I never get it right lol. I never have been able to and yes, I do try to remember which is proper.

Brakes on a bicycle is a good thing; breaks on a bicycle is a very bad thing. Lol
