I got my new GRUBEE SkyHawk GT5B 69cc Angle Fire Slant Head and decided to compare what differences my older 66 Grubee made in 2017 were to the 2021 model.

In most of the pictures below the new GT5B is on the right hand side.

There are a couple of differences the thing that sticks out is the difference in hight About 3mm

3mm higher.jpg

Also the size of the mounts the 66 is about 44mm and the 68 is about 40mm.

And the difference in the shape of the intake

Does That have do to the new engine being 40mm stroke vs 38mm?
I'm not really sure it's actually 3mm I used a tape measure and eyballed it but I was discussing this motor with one of the forum members here before buying it and he said they were different and hench why it's called 69cc and not a 66cc

Just reread your question the mounts have nothing to do with the stroke, At least I don't think so

Did you measure the diameter of the bores and the length of the cylinders to compare?
