Isn't that frame a full suspension frame? I think that contributed to that stress crack a lot. Can we see a pic of the whole bike from the side?

OK no full suspension, my bad. You know there's frames made in China and Taiwan. There's one Taiwanese maker who makes most of the quality frames for most higher end bikes. Maybe that's the difference in frames.

Well I'm back up and running before the cold and snow gets here. I went for a drive to the big city of Toronto Friday morning and picked up a new CDH GT-A frame. Forgot how much fun a shifter bike is to ride.
42mm stroker engine, G5 ported cylinder w/G2 reeds, MZ65 pipe, 24mm OKO carb, RDM clutch, Sturmey Archer RS-RK3 Hub.

What size of drive chain are you running if I may ask

From engine to jackshaft and jachshaft to crank I use kmc hl710 its 1/8 x 1/2 half link chain and then I use kmc k710 or k1 single speed 1/8 x 1/2 chain from the crank to the rear hub.
