BT100

IV heard a lot of s**t put on the bt 100 but I'm just about to run mine in ....I see a lot of potential ....but lots of people say otherwise

That's a pricey HT kit, hope it's worth the extra $$$. Maybe the $$$ is in upgraded parts.
I have the BT100 kit and I like it , runs very well . Better than the 66cc s**t thats out there . Would recommend !!!!

I have the newer YD100 and it is awesome. I cleaned the ports and gaskets, cut off the muffler stinger and drilled the hole to 12mm and the engine runs like a raped ape. I long ago switched to 4 stroke engines but recently bought and am trying out a BT80 and the YD100. The YD has potentially brought me back into the world of 2 stroke bicycle engines.

The YD100 is the current version of the BT100. At this point there is only one variation of the YD100 so anywhere you buy it will be the same engine. You can get them on ebay, amazon, Zeda, Bicycle engines.com, Gasbike, and I'm sure from other suppliers. They may be labeled differently but they are all the same YD100. Zeda, ebay, and amazon will have them labled as a YD100. Some on ebay are labeled T100 or Zues 100. Gasbike calls them Raw Racer II. Bicycle engines.com calls them the Firestorm edition YD100. I bought mine from Gasbike due to a sale price of $139 for the complete kit. you will see them for about 180 or so in most places. Some are charging as much as $250 or more but don't fall for that. Again, same kit. Engines only seem to be going for around $125.

Mine runs over 10k at top speed and has been running for over 1600mi without a rebuild.
I have done gps top speed of 52.7mph (with great brakes on a deserted stretch of road) on 44t gearing, with cad assisted porting, windowed piston, and Reed valve on 26" tires,my math puts that around 10,500+,and all that with the stock nt carb and drilled jet. It's a good engine, Ive gone through many yd100s and they are cheaper engines but are great for torque, the bt100 flows alot better and has much better balancing. Downside is it has a different exhaust port so mods will be necessary for good clone mz65 type pipes, and bolt spacing is different so it's hard to use other parts, and rebuild jugs still aren't available.

I hope the attachments upload correctly.

Cad assisted porting being what? 10,500 rpm with your setup is 45 mph and for you to do 52 mph with that setup requires 12,200 rpm!
So a g2 reed and NT carb with MZ65 pipe ? Sorry but this makes no sense!
