Bt80 wont fire brand new out the box

Jeez I didn't even think about that. Well I'm trying a fixer upper idea I found on YouTube to see if I can salvage the cdi. I want to try because the cdi for the bt80 is 30 bucks lol. It has an irreplaceable wire like most of these cheapo things and I can't use a standard cdi from a normal 2 stroke kit. Of course not! I have tons of those lmao. Well here's the video. I'm gonna try to Frankenstein it. Once my battery is charged we'll see if it works. That has got to be the issue.

Well that was the issue and the fix shown in the video works! The engine is now running starting instantly. Now all that's left is running the chains. I'll upload pics and progress on a new thread. These bullet train kits are pretty cool. Thanks!

I have a bt80 as well I have spark, I have fuel flowing and compression but it doesn't start. Mine is wired correctly I've been riding it but one day it just died while riding it. All of a sudden. Can't get it started again.
