Building an electric start

I was advising that if you want to run a single speed motorized bike without pedals, you need a strong motor, with a relatively high reduction ratio. Apologies on the incorrect datum. Assuming a phantom 85, a 26 inch wheel, and a 44 tooth sprocket, thats about 32 mph at 7.5k rpm, and 40mph at 9.5k.
YEP...I wanted my Phantom to behave itself...lol...That's why I have the 36 tooth sprocket and not the 44 tooth...I am getting to old to be popping wheelies and be thrown off the bike like that guy in the youtbe video a few years ago taking his maiden voyage with his Phantom with 44 tooth sprocket...lol...lol...lol.

He never even saw it coming either...lol...Way too hilarious...lol.

Yep, right after having to put in 6 hours of work on the motor and making a new exhaust system for it...Did I leave anything out???...lol...lol.

Notice that I specifically pointed out mine is STOCK...I didn't have to put 6 hours of work just to get the motor to work correctly and I also didn't have to make a new exhaust for mine either to achive what I do...lol.

Ps...Mine does it Wicked Pissah easy...lol...lol...lol.
I quite enjoyed doing that work. I did alot of the port work watching old interviews with Carol Shelby or listening to old music. Hardly work at all. Just fun. Oh and it took me longer to find my welder than to make the pipe. 2 cuts and 5 minutes welding is all it took. I had to go search the big shop for my welder since I hadn't used it since before I moved and I had to put new wire in it.

This is one instance old age and treachery doesn't overcome my youth and skill. I have the patience and spryness to be hunched over a cylinder for hours to make the best of my engine.

Easy dobbin, easy. You don’t know the force that’s with us !

I weigh more than you too...lol...I also added another 20 pounds of tools in my tool roll on the handlebars just to be sure it stays firmly planted on the road...lol...lol.
I actually had to remove the heaviest part on my bike. The modified whizzer center stand had to go. My pipe slung right where it went and there was no way to run it differently.
