Building bulletproof 49mm iron bore

It really wasn’t bad while the stinger addition was in. It was pretty tight. It was down on power because of the increased back pressure. It did sound and feel like a pipe hit in the later rpm’s. The pitch would get noticeable louder and raspy suddenly and the power would suddenly increase all the way until top speeds. I could still hear and feel the same thing with the stinger about halfway. Power was reduced across the board but it was much quieter. I used the small middle bar off the handlebars of a kids bike for the stinger just to try to give an idea of the length. I left about a half inch of metal on each side of the handlebars. I was on the way home from a job about 18 miles away when I was on a busy road with a small shoulder. I went full throttle and about 5 seconds later the stinger fell out. I went to the richest setting on the carb. It sounded lean. I should have pedaled but I figured the rings would warn me via slowly increasing power loss. I would have idled it so it was still getting oil for a few seconds before cutting it off. This was a huge learning experience for me

NO! Bad Jojo very bad Jojo! Never let it get to the point of power loss. Damage already done when that happens. Very rare not case. I only say that about the f2 bcuz I have one. And mz65 is only 70 with shipping and I PROMISE you no tinkering just swap for longer exhaust bolt and might as well widen the exhaust port bcuz the mz header is about 26mm Wide. With it you get a MASSIVE hit! No mz clones only the real deal AND it sounds like a yamaha yz or banshee. Crisp pronounced. Better bottom end and way better top. It's a legit game changer. See those pipes? I ONLY use them upon request or a temp on a new build. MY bikes get tral mz or pro circuit pipes. I'm begging try a real mz65 and you'll never consider any other pipe for performance or sound

When you feel an mz hit it will magical. It hits for me at top speed. 45mph then all the sudden th hornets nest has been kicked. A loud buzzing rpm sky rocket and 50+ here I come lol

I speak from experience of all of it. I've tried almost every motor. Pics or it didn't happen. Well... including your in many configurations. Hell still have my fav configuration on the shelf! If you seek power then for that motor I found that square head to be best for cooling and identical squish to stock. If I had the cash I'd go with ld100 looking one for the 49mm stud spacing. It was good on hills with a g2 reed but top speed I'd say the cnc shorty intake. 2 base gaskets, sleeve match, deck to .7,drill out oiling holes slightly will REALLY help cooling. That was my optimal setup. Idk I guess my point was that f2 did more harm than good in retrospect and for just 15 more dollars an mz65 that sounds waaay better and performs better than that

I love help ppl go fast! I always beg for help myself. 99% @ImpulseRocket is the only guy that can spell it out for me. I believe he was the one that told me the f2 was not a chamber. Sure it helps you low and mid. I could totally see how you could mistake that for a pipe hit. I DID. Lol read enough post and you'll find plenty of nieve bs from me lol. Hell if you have some cash to burn the smoliks sell a slip flange that bolts right on. BOOM any dirt bike pipe now fits lol but most importantly THERE WAS A PREEXISTING ISSUE b4 the stinger fell out. Had to have been that change couldn't have leaned you out that bad. Hopefully if I'm wrong, the great one himself chimes in. Lol
