Can a maxtorque bushing type clutch be made to freewheel/converted to one way

The bottom line however is, even of there are no springs, if the clutch pads are not spun out and engaged to the bell to begin with, spinning the bell won't engage them ;-}

now you get it ;)

was a silly scooter with a 6" rear tyre, ludicrous redux in the setup, so it was really noticeable, as it was doing about 4km/h when the clutch engaged, probably 20km top speed... back off down a hill and wow...serious braking effect until it hit just above that engagement speed, at which point...engine resumed idle and off i rolled down the hill...about twice as fast as full throttle.

i havent noticed the effect so much on a more "standard" redux. once again, i would have called BS on the whole idea if i hadnt had it happen before.

even auto cars can engine brake and they have no mechanical connection AT ALL! try slamming one from drive into slow or low... theyll chirp the wheels in the right circumstances :) if they let you stick it in first, anyway. most dont :(

i miss my paddock basher :( from 60 to reverse in one foul swoop :)
