Can anyone help?

I'm helping a buddy get his fourwheeler running. It's a 1988 honda fourtrax 300. It didn't have spark so I replaced the coil and cdi. It still has no spark, the electric start doesn't work, and the lights don't come on on the dash. I am not super great with electrical, so I am having issues diagnosing the issue

Check fuses/fuse links. Fuse links that are shorted the insulation will be soft and expanded, or check with a DVOM.

Get a 10 dollar elec meter from amazon or harbor freight and start tracing wires from the battery on back,be sure to check around fuse areas.
corrosion on connectors is a likely culprit,pull apart all connectors and make sure they make good contact.
I have been fighting these problems in my Jeep for a few years mostly caused by poor connectors.

Make sure the magneto is still magnetic. Heat and vibration weaken permanent magnets.
