Can I easily replace the engine on this bike for a GX35?

Windjammer Motorized Bicycle.

First motored bicycle.
Im looking to pick up this bike, the engine runs but it idles high. I wondering if i cant fix the engine, would it be fairly intuitive to swap out the engine for a 4 stroke Honda GX35. Thanks.

Hey, can you get a better pic of the mount from the other side? If it's already got a strimmer/pocket bike-type engine then it might be a simple swap.

The idle could be set too high, or there's an intake leak. In any case both are an easy fix. Check back when you have the bike and let everyone know.

In any case a honda gx35 would be a major upgrade from a chinese HS. However, you would have to fabricate a motor mount along with all the other components required for an engine to work.

Better off with a predator 79cc or a HS 142f/144f. All the parts are plug n play for cheap. GX35 /50 you need a lot of custom fabrication for in frame mount.

It's a folding bike with a rack mount drive, the custom fabrication is already been done for you.

And the engine is a 33cc 2 stroke so you can expect it's the same engine mount as the GX35.
