Brakes cant get ****ing coaster brake back togeather

oh yes -- been a while Dave since I have had one apart

maybe late for this - but - I have my favorite side to work from when taking apart coaster brake hubs
seems that it is the side opposite the brake arm
so -- the cones and such on the brake arm side I do not touch -- they stay tight

if you have everyTHING apart -- might try
putting brake arm side together first with cones and axle
then lay all of your washer THINGS over that
then -- work it slowly back into hub -- from brake arm side

you will get it -- MM

I'm SURE some evil foreign power invented coaster brakes so all us Westerners would be sooooo distracted when they invaded we wouldn't even notice.

tell me about it....
anyway its all back togeather now albeit being put back on the bike and the bearings adjusted to work properly. I just hope the brake works

Hope it does work.....the first & only time i've worked on a coaster brake is it took me 5 hrs to get a squeaking noise out of it..............never again.

in the bicycle shop repair days

we would add a few of those inside washer things to coaster brakes that were not stopping well

seemed to bring them back to -- almost as good as new

ride that MB thing
