Can you hold it under water to look for bubbles and see where it is leaking? Usually it is just a small crack along the seam, and I have successfully used an old soldering iron tip to reweld the plastic in a pinch on a leaky lawn mower float and it held up for as long as I had it. There is no pressure inside the carb or anything, so if it doesn't leak when held under water it won't leak inside the carb.

Dunno any where to buy just a float, seems you need to buy a whole carb. Put a wanted ad in the 4sale section for just a float. Lots of folks might have an old carb laying around. If it were the honda carb I've got an old one in a parts box.
