That fuel is probably coming from the main jet.
I know it's a stupid question, but did you check for spark?

We did verify spark. New carb should be in today. Will post results.

Hey did you buy that from boy goes fast on eBay? I was eyeing one up for a long time. He told me it was better than a pahtom85 stating this his wasn't " kit" and was machined .now you can't get it to start? Super curious how this is and performs cuz I'm thinking of making one of my bike 2 stroke again.pleasr keep me posted.....

No it's this dude on eBay bgf or boy goes fast 110cc from what he says. I'm a big dude and I dont a replay of what happened with the last four stroke engine I ordered for the gear ratio was too low for me

Yup, that's who I bought it from. And it was just the engine and carb, which was all I needed. I was replacing a cracked engine that has been on the bike for about a decade. I opted for this one because I like the carb configuration. My engine is not mounted the traditional way.
That is a "110cc" (85cc) engine like the one I am working on. Be prepared to be incredibly disappointed with how much power it makes. Insanely low compression and some of the worst ports ever imagined. These engines need a lot of help to be any good.

Bummer. I hope it makes at least the same power as the general 49cc kit engines? I chose it basically only because of the intake manifold and carb configuration. I admit though, before buying this, I had never seen one of these types of engines with the intake port blocked off and a plenum plumbed lower on the engine. Do you know where I can read more about this specific configuration?
With the case reed setup, no. LA Hover on YouTube did a couple of videos on the 110 engine though. Without work to correct the flaws it will make less power than a decent 49cc.

Well, that stinks. I looked up his vids on YouTube and I appreciated his thoroughness. I noticed his 110 was different than mine. His intake port is in the traditional location. Mine has the manifold mounted much lower (exactly in the picture in post #1). I still can't find any info about this and I'm not sure what that accomplishes. I'll probably not get the time to tear it down and measure things like he did. Though it made me wonder if we can get an easy compression bump by welding material onto the head's combustion chamber.
That is why I said "with the case reed setup, no." The power issues are still related to most of the work he had to do. Exhaust, transfers, and ridiculously low compression.
