Does anyone know what is the size of the intake where the carb slips on? I have a Zeda 80 engine I installed a reed valve but the intake tube on the reed valve where the carb goes on is the same size cause my stock nt carb slid right on. I want to upgrade to a mikuni vm18 carb and it says the diameter where it slips on to the intake is 18mm, someone told me that’s too small but I saw one posted for sale that says it’s a direct fit for motorized bikes there also a thread on here where a guy says it slipped right onto his intake. Can anyone confirm?

I have had bad luck with any carb that has a plastic/rubber bushing, the CNS2 carb would not stay tight on the intake. The Mikuni is a better made carb, you can do the testing. Here's a bushing I made to use the CNS2 carb.

Treatland sells the adapter. The vm18 has an ID of 23ish mm and the stock intake has an OD of 19ish mm
