My carb needle mechanism will not slide all the way down. It leaves a gap so when I start the bike it runs without the throttle. I can’t get it to sit all the way down. It’s like something is blocking it

Hey 2-stroke fam. I guess patients is the key because I got it too work. But, still if someone could explain so I can fix situation in a more timely matter.

You probably didn't have the throttle cable end bit set properly in the slide.

Or you didn't have that little nub inside the slide barrel chamber riding on the inside of the groove that is on the barrel slide itself...If its not in the groove it will get stuck and not travel properly in the slide chamber.
