I'm ALWAYS second guessing myself. Sometimes I get confused and think I'm a mechanic or something lol. Somebody just help me out carb tuning tip here. I like to fatten her up til she 4 strokes. Then back off til smooth maybe alittle 4 stroke under super light load but I wanna fo better! How the hell do ppl foul a bu ch of plugs? Or have a lean condition forever? Wouldn't they alway 4 stroke? Or be super boggy and gutless? Why is there never middle ground for me like it seems for everyone else? I need opinions here. I wanna do better.

Probably because you modify the crap out of everything all at once rather than doing it one thing at a time and run it that way for a while to see what differences it makes before going to the next modification.

Instead, you just do it all at once which makes opinions next to impossible other than this opinion/observation I am posting...lol...lol.

U mean I know that but I started by doing that with my first motors. I. Just really curious of the experiences of others. When did they decide on a bigger carb? Why have I never fouled s single plug but ride absolutely everywhere? It just seems like alot of thing happen to other ppl but not to me. I'm very grateful of that. It just seems strange that I dive right into things and alot of those text vook things didn't happen to me. Plenty of them did but almost no real tuning issues like that outside of airleaks

I imagine maybe it's bcuz I was a mechanic long b4 this so I'm very aware when something alittle off but I never have excessive smoke or fouled plugs and I go kinda rich

Run it for a while as it will change in time. Also atmospheric conditions and temperature can make quite a difference as well. One day it will run perfectly and the next day not so great. You can be like a dog chasing it's tail trying to have it perfect at all times.

I feel that. It's hard to do my ld100 rips everyday in variable weather tho lol. Maybe just alittle less spicy when it's super hot but I kinda you it as a benchmark for running perfectly.i never thought that if had to choose I'd take my ld100 over my phantom or avenger any day. It doesn't leave as hard as they do but close and it's much spicier in the high rpm range.to sum it up I guess I just had high expectations for an avenger ppl compare them to phantoms but I had to modify it considerably to get phantom power out of it.
