it seems the carb that comes with the 80cc kit is unresponsive at every speed. has anyone found a replacement carb that will fix this problem or is there a modification to the current carb that would make it more responsive. the bike does go fast, but not in a hurry.

thanks again for your input.

I think if these HTs were too responsive we would blow the crank out of the bottom. Hee Hee. I have a "so called" 80 on my current bike. Your correct if your talking about torque. I have a 44 tooth on the back and it only has average climb. Its ok for me since im only out crusin. Maybe think about rear sprocket sizing to light a little fire under your feet? Ohterwise I think I did see a post about a carb mod with a different brand carb.

the Carb on the happy time engine is incredibly simple. I guess some one could drill out the jet, but I don't think that there is too much you could do to it. On the Grubee website they offer a super looking Carb but you can't get it anywhere.
