Cars and Coffee - Naples monthly Car Show

I've had people ask me if my Whizzer is electric
I guess they see the big drum brake hubs and the speedo cable, brake cable, wires for hand controls and assume it's electric
I'm not sure what they think the engine is with an obvious belt going to the rear wheel :LOL:
I guess it don't compute because they're amazed with E bikes

When I'm asked if my Whizzer is electric
I say " yep as soon as I start the engine it makes power for spark and lights"
Now they give me the confused look :LOL: I laugh and say "it's a gas engine" and point at the engine,
Now they're really impressed because they thought M/Bs were extinct LOL

I got several "Electric" comments on the Cruzer also.... it has the look of a "Surron".....
 
I saw from a distance what I thought was a modern built M/B made to look old skool
But as I got closer I saw a E battery and rear hub E motor, Now I'm wondering if it's a hybrid
The guy put two CG cylinders on a plastic box which looked like an engine case, Fake Engine, Fake tank,
Maybe it makes a fake Vroooom sound :LOL:

I told the guy Nice bike, but he was so impressed with himself that he didn't even look or comment about my Whizzer
I'm standing there with the real thing he tried to fake and he don't even look, what did I expect from an ARTISTS :LOL:

Actually the 76 Mustang was a decent car with the 302 in it. Problems arose after the miles racked up. Nice interiors and giddyup for such a light car. Had a girlfriend with one. Loved driving it.

I notice the same thing when I take my Whizzer to Car shows, Teenage boys don't look twice at the Whizzer
It's the old timers, kids under 12, some M/C guys, chicks old and young, who are interested in the Whizzer

But back in the day when Whizzer Motor kits came out, then soon after complete Whizzer motorbikes were available
It was teenage boys and young men who dreamed of owning them,

Today those teenage boys are old men and they still dream of owning a Whizzer

I'm 14 and I love these bikes, I initially got into these bike because I wanted a dirt bike but I didn't have the money for one and now I have a dirt bike, an electric dirt bike, 2 mountains bikes, a electric scooter and 2 motorized bikes!
