are these crap? not sure if I'd even keep the wheels and calipers, but the forks, crank, tires and frame might be a step up from box store bikes.

Those are the tires that came on the hyper. Not bad actually!

ok little bit of searching. the frame is Schwinn, think it's a Sidewinder then they put some forks n wheels on it. gotta be aluminum. I don't want it as is but just didn't want to use the steel hyper for the racer build. cool i have those tires stuffed away. haven't looked at em in months!
but I did like it has mounts for disc F/R so maybe I can get a bare frame somewhere. aluminum is ok for me for a light, race only bike
