My sparkplug cap broke on my cdi. How do I fix it without having to buy a new cdi?

ya that worked.. so do I now buy a car sparkplug wire and boot? Can you buy just one? Do you have to have the boot or can you wrap the wire around the sparkplug?

a standard single plug wire could go for as little as $4, my race-quality cost $9 and i can use the other end as a brand new replacement someday

Yeah...you can wrap your wire around your plug....to get you home, if need be. (wouldn't be a reliable fix, but would keep you from pedalling home ) you can buy just the spark plug ends....no boot. (very cheap) It just attaches to your regular wire.
