CDI replacement help for Kasei 63cc

Hello, I need some help replacing a stock CDI of a Kasei 63cc two stroke. The oem seen on the right has questionable spark issues and was going to be replaced by the clone CDI on the left bought from Aliba but the middle contact is too short and doesn't make contact with the flywheel. I know a few members here own a Kasei and would like to hear from them where a true replacement for this CDI can be found or links to an upgrade CDI for this motor.

I was at one point trying to modify the clone replacement on the left by drilling out the bolt holes to close the gap but instead the thin plates began to separate instead. Didn't think it was a good idea to continue. Can anyone also share knowledge if it is possible to modify these CDI without compromising them?

First off the CDI should never touch the flywheel, a business card thickness away. To modify the replacement you want to elongate the holes instead of redrilling them. A high speed rotary tool with a grinding stone is best, this won't separate the layers either.
