Chain Alignment help

Hi, i was aligning my chain and realized that the rivets on the chain rub on the outer part of the tensioner pulley. I tried adjusting it, but it doesn't help. Is that fine, or do i have to adjust the motor.

sometimes one needs to put pulley on other side of long tensioner arm, then flip tensioner around to line up with chain - other times, one must take tensioner off and bend the long arm a bit to get chain line straight
