Chain info needed

I’m just needing to know if a 40 roller chain will work on the little China monster . I know I could of ordered a 415 or others chains but don’t want to wait. I know I’ve bought a single speed chain also from Walmart before too. They are out of chains. I just can’t remember if it’s size 40 or 41 from a tractor store . They usually sell it in 10 ft pks. Thanks

Both of those chains are heavy chains and you may not have enough room in the frame, plus there will be the extra width sliding back and forth.

Well I have a kmc 1/2 link chain I think it’s a HL 710 but I forget which way the cotter pin goes.I would assume head goes towards engine drive gear and the bent part of pin goes in last . I don’t have any small rivets either.
