okay so you know the back of the tensioner, the side without the nuts? Its not a socket cap, its a flat head, and its stripped. Can I use reverse drillbit to get it out and put a wrench on the nut possibly?

Just pick a tensioner you like from the link and then order it and install it, you will be probably better off that way.

Here are those long awaited photos, finally got my Allen key set back. It's real nasty in there I'll give it that. But the noise it was making was like it was about to lock, kind of like the engine was off center and it was gonna pop off, which it isn't.
Move you tensioner closer to the sprocket to take up slack.

If your pedals are touching the cover, you can file off the end of the pedal that pokes through the crank arm. Or grind if you have a grinder.

Or get the 4 bolt one
